Yamaichi Bank U.K. in London has made three out of its five spot traders redundant, officials say. Treasurer John Lavers confirms that chief dealer Gary McGraw, dollar/yen dealer Arthur Guerrier and sterling/mark dealer Edward Witt have left the bank. "We are not pulling out of the spot market, but we are in the process of reviewing the way we do business and restructuring it," says Lavers. He says the bank is not currently making interbank markets, but is doing both interbank and customer
