CIBC Wood Gundy has made three hires from UBS Securities in London as part of its bid to become a global player in fixed income and foreign exchange, says Simon Ellen, head of global trading and sales in Europe for CIBC Wood Gundy. Ellen joined CIBC Wood Gundy from SBC Warburg. The three are Martin Shaw who joins as head of fixed income trading and traders Robert Whichello and James Montague.
