Den Danske Bank's treasurer in New York JP Neergaard says he plans to bolster the bank's forex operation in North America from a sales perspective over the next year.

Neergaard was recently named to replace treasurer Jesper Christensen, who was appointed head of FX corporate and institutional sales in the bank's headquarters in Copenhagen several months ago (FXW, July 7).

Before his transfer to New York, Neergaard was the bank's London-based head of European money markets for the past seven years
