Tighter Spreads "Not An Issue" For Logica's First Trade On Currenex

LONDON -- UK systems integration company Logica will conduct its first trade on online foreign exchange trading portal Currenex this week, but says tighter spreads were not the main incentive for signing up to the service.

Neil Cotter, group treasurer at Logica in London, says tighter spreads were "not really an issue". He says that Logica signed up to Currenex because it hoped the platform would bring advantages of increased liquidity and decreased transactional costs.
