International Banks Lead Ranks In Singapore, But Locals Improve
FX WEEK/SYNTEGRA AWARDS
In the Singapore marketplace, the top five banks in the FX Week/Syntegra Best Banks in FX Awards for 1997 were all international names, with Union Bank of Switzerland (UBS) and Citibank hanging onto their respective first and second places for the third year running. However, DBS Bank scooped the best Singapore dollar trading bank for the second year running.
UBS's regional forex head Richard Silver says the bank hopes to maintain its hold on the ratings next year with "even better" results due
