Chinese banks roll out Opics treasury software

Two Beijing-based banks, Bank of China and China Construction Bank (CCB), are using London-based Misys International Banking Systems' Opics treasury and capital markets software suite for risk management.

Bank of China went live with the system for FX, fixed-income, deposits and loans trades, interest rate swaps, futures and over-the-counter options late last year, while CCB is mid-way through its Opics installation at its Beijing head office. CCB
