Banks Move To Upgrade Service To Middle Market Corporates

Mid-sized corporate customers in the U.K. often complain about getting poor rates and indifferent service from banks because of their relatively small orders. But things are changing, officials on both sides of the fence report. Banks--aware of the increasing sophistication and potential of this growing market sector--are finding ways to address these customers' needs.

Most are taking one of two approaches, or some combination thereof, to provide better service, those surveyed say. Many have
