Citibank Singapore Promotes Tan, Makes Key Hire For Regional Unit

Citibank Singapore foreign exchange manager Eddie Tan has been promoted to country treasurer for Citi in Singapore, responsible for the bank's treasury trading and commercial business, as well as Citicorp Futures, he confirms.

In addition to Tan's new position, Citibank hired Lam Kun Kin from the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GSIC) last week, to head its regional currency unit (RCU), says Y.S. Wong, Citi's regional head for financial markets in Asia-Pacific.
