NatWest's Buchen Outlines Plans For New Global Proprietary Role

NatWest Markets' recently named head of global proprietary trading, David Buchen, says he intends to tie together the bank's proprietary trading presence across the different regions in order to layer-in "intelligent risk taking" with the market making and customer service network currently at the bank (FXW, February 24).

Buchen, who joins this month from Citibank where he was most recently market risk manager for North America, says the proprietary operation at the bank will be formed with
