Fabian Ponce, formerly at Bank of America, and Mark Schultz, formerly of Hongkong and Shanghai Bank, both joined their former Midland boss, Tom Stanley, at Barclays Bank in New York last week. Ponce will trade mark/yen and Schultz will fill one of the three recently vacated positions on the corporate desk.

Darren Muller has left Shearson Lehman Brothers Inc. in New York and is joining Bear Stearns & Co. this week. He will handle futures and cash arbitrage for the investment bank--the same
