Bank Of Montreal Plans To Expand In U.S. Set To Relocate N.Y. FX Desk To Chicago

The Bank of Montreal is planning to bolster its presence in the foreign exchange market in the United States and establish a central trading operation in Chicago, officials there confirm. Although the bank will leave a customer service desk in New York, it intends to move all 20 of its foreign exchange traders currently employed there to the Windy City this fall and make Chicago its home base in the U.S.

"Going forward, I would expect to be adding a substantial numbers of people" to the trading
