Allied Irish Bank Launches

DUBLIN--Allied Irish Bank (AIB)'s online currency trading service,, which was launched in November, will reduce trading transaction times and save clients money, a bank spokesperson in London told FX Week.

AIB estimates the automated system will save its medium-sized corporate clients more than £10,000 ($15,655) per year in time-savings from "eliminating virtually all process time wasted during each transaction."
