McEvoy leaves Bank of Ireland for Citigroup

Declan McEvoy has left Bank of Ireland in Dublin, where he was head of proprietary trading.

A source from the bank told FX Week that McEvoy has been replaced internally by a member of the bank’s bond trading desk, who now takes on extra responsibility for proprietary FX.

McEvoy joined Bank of Ireland from Citigroup in London, where he was chief dealer for foreign exchange until August last year. He has now returned to Citigroup’s London centre in a
