U.K.-based Abbey National Bank is still seeking a replacement for treasury director Ian Harley, who has been appointed the bank's finance director, according to bank officials. But because of the unusual nature of the bank's treasury department, it seems, the bank will be looking for someone strictly from the balance sheet and liquidity management side of treasury--or perhaps even a treasurer with a corporate background.
