Paganucci Takes Control of FX At DLJ As Gettinger Leaves Market

PEOPLE NEWS

NEW YORK--Ken Gettinger, global head of FX at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette resigned last week to pursue interests outside the forex market.

DLJ has named John Paganucci, global head of the fixed-income derivatives group, to take additional responsibility for global forex.

The loss of DLJ’s FX head will be a big blow for the bank--one of the few to expand forex trading globally in a climate of cutbacks and consolidation.

DLJ hired Gettinger and a team of 10 trading and sales staff from Union Bank
