Credit Agricole Sticks To Forex Strategy Under New Global FX Chief Herlaut

Caisse Nationale de Credit Agricole (CNCA) is pushing ahead with its strategy in foreign exchange despite the uncertainty surrounding the intended merger with Banque Indosuez (FXW, May 6), officials say. The bank announced the appointment of Francis Herlaut as Credit Agricole's new global head of foreign exchange, replacing Bassim Snaije, who has transferred to New York.
