Citibank retains its crown as dominant bank worldwide in foreign exchange, according to the latest annual Euromoney poll, but other U.S. money-centre banks, notably Chase Manhattan which jumped to second place from eighth in 1993, are gaining ground. Third place went to HSBC/Midland, followed in close order by Bankers Trust, Chemical, Bank of America and National Westminster Bank.
