Mizuho merger complete


LONDON -- Mizuho Corporate Bank, the combined operations of Fuji Bank, Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank (DKB) and Industrial Bank of Japan (IBJ), began trading as one global unit last Monday (April 1).

Based at Fuji Bank’s trading floor at Finsbury Circus, London’s spot FX group is managed by Allan Patten, who formerly managed FX at DKB. Richard Burrows, formerly of Fuji, is head of treasury sales.

Officials at the bank would not comment on further appointments, but sources told FX Week that sales
