Reuters Posts 15 Percent Gain In '90 FX Dealing System's Revenue Up

Reuters Holdings PLC reported a 15 percent increase in revenue for 1990, confirming outgoing managing director Glen Renfrew's prediction last summer of slower revenue growth during the second half of 1990. Although the company faced difficult markets, stronger sterling and higher costs, some sectors continued to shine, including its Monitor Dealing and Dealing 2000-1 foreign exchange transactional systems, which gained 21 percent last year.
