UK euro acceptance is on the increase

LONDON -- The first major poll of UK voters following the introduction of euro notes and coins has pointed to a growing acceptance of the single currency in the UK.

The Barclays Eurotrack survey, which was made public last week, showed that 40% of those polled would vote ‘yes’ to UK euro entry if the UK government announced that its five economic tests for joining the currency had been met.
