Prebon Becomes First Moneybroker To Open In Central Europe Office

Prebon Yamane, the international money and foreign exchange brokers, has become the first major international group to open a money-broking and foreign exchange business in Central Europe, officials claim.

Its Warsaw office opened on December 1 under locally recruited manager Andrzej Wisniewski and is seen by officials in London as "a major commitment to new and emerging markets." Wisniewski formerly worked in the foreign exchange trading department of a Polish bank, officials add.
