Although still waiting for a work visa from the French government to come through, Credit Commercial de France plans to hire John Prout, formerly foreign exchange manager at Mitsui Trust and Banking Corp. in London, as deputy to CFO Olivier La Vedrine in Paris.
Prout, who has been working at CCF's New York branch since leaving Mitsui last month, says he will supervise CCF's overseas treasury and foreign exchange operations as well as funding and strategic planning in Paris. Prout met La Vedrine
