NatWest Capital Markets dismissed Robert Thomas, who ran the bond and currency strategy team in London as part of a reorganisation which integrates the various economics and strategy fixed-income teams within the company under a single head, says a spokesperson. John Reynolds, head of economics and global strategy oversees this organisation. The spokesperson says Thomas will not be replaced, because his "role did not fit into the reorganisation plan."
