Chris Deuters will retire as head of Lehman Brothers' European fixed income group at the end of the year. Deuters, who is based in London, has been with Lehman since 1992, when he joined as managing director and head of global FX. He was given the additional responsibility for European fixed income in 1995. Mark Benson, currently Lehman's head of fixed income derivatives in London, will succeed him after a "short handover period", say officials.
