Palomar Gets Regulatory Nods $500 Million Under Management

Palomar Partners Ltd., the currency specialist fund manager set up by former County NatWest Investment Management director Ron Leisching, has finally been licensed by both the Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.K. Investment Management Regulatory Office, enabling the fledgling firm to officially begin managing money for clients. Leisching says the two authorizations came through last month nearly simultaneously; "They were almost in some sort of race," he quips.
