Boca Raton, Fla.-based chemical manufacturers W.R. Grace & Co is expanding into FX risk management and derivatives in a major policy shift for what only two years ago was a decentralized conglomerate. Today Grace is operating with a centralized risk-management function within an 18-strong treasury group, hedging more than $3 billion in interest-rate, foreign exchange and commodities exposures.
