Reuters Dealing 2000-2 Hits Goal Of 1,000 Daily Trades

TECHNOLOGY

After 14 months of operation, the Reuters Dealing 2000-2 automated FX matching service finally reached the magic figure of 1,000 trades per day, the company announced last week. That is the number at which Reuters has long said it will begin revealing volumes done on the system.

The announcement said that average daily trades exceeded 1,000 over the five working days of the previous week, each for a minimum of 1 million units on the currency being dealt ($1 million, DM1 million or £1 million)
