Merita Restructures Investment Banking With Reshuffle Of Treasury

Merita Bank of Finland has restructured its investment banking operations under a separate unit comprising parts of its existing treasury and asset management groups and has made a number of senior appointments to support the effort, officials say. The new unit, Merita Investment Bank, will remain part of Merita Bank, but with a separate administration.

As of June 1, the investment banking business of the Merita Group was regrouped under the new unit, and the existing treasury and asset
