Citibank Hong Kong Gets New FX Manager

Citibank Hong Kong has hired Al Roth to run its 25-person foreign exchange trading operation there. Roth, who was previously head of Wertheim Schroder & Co.'s now defunct proprietary trading unit, will be responsible for overseeing spot and forward trading, as well as currency options, derivatives and the corporate advisory desk when he starts there later this month, sources there say.
