Outlook Good For 1997 Bonuses Across-The-Board At US Banks

In line with the expectations of their European counterparts (see related story, this issue), US forex dealers are expecting decent bonuses across most market sectors, according to market participants surveyed by FX Week.
With several investment banks already reporting record earnings for the year, and most US banks anticipating fourth quarter earnings to cap a strong year generally, signs point to 1997 being, as one trader describes, "a feast year".
