Barclays Capital has hired Hironobu Hagi to head its foreign exchange options desk in Tokyo.
Hagi joins Barclays from Tokai Bank in Tokyo, where he was a senior forex options dealer. He has also held senior options positions at Westdeutsche Landesbank and BZW in London.
At Barclays, Hagi reports to Areski Iberrakene, global head of FX options, in London.
Caboto, the investment banking arm of Italian banking group, Banca Intesa, has hired two more spot traders to its growing foreign exchange
