CHICAGO--The recent alliance between Eurex, the Swiss/German derivatives exchange and the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) looks set to be expanded next year with the addition of a third, Asian, exchange.

The addition of a third exchange will give the Eurex/CBOT alliance a liquid, 24 hour-a-day trading ability -- working between three different timezones -- and further increase the alliance's market share.
