State Street Bolsters Persaud's Research Team

LONDON--State Street Corporation has beefed up its research and analytics division with two senior hires in London.

Stewart Newnham and Dr. Ann-Sophie van Royen have both joined as strategists in the market and research analytics unit of the bank's global trading and research business.

Newnham was previously head of currency research at Commerzbank in London, and prior to that was a market analyst at Banc One.

Meanwhile, Dr. van Royen was formerly a research officer at City University in London
