Merrill Lynch Creates Emerging Markets Division In Singapore

Merrill Lynch is making a push in Asia, creating a new emerging markets trading unit in Singapore under Ian Clague, the recently named head of the Asian Regional Markets Group (FXW, March 4). The investment bank has also been beefing up its trading teams in the city-state, as well as in its major centres in London and New York.
