Pit Info Inc. Plans Feed Of Trade Reports From Futures Pits

Chicago-based startup Pit Info Inc. will begin transmitting live reports on transactions in the currency futures trading pits of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange this September. The service, to be distributed by major market data vendors, will carry information on counterparty identities and the size of orders announced. The Chicago-based start-up company is comprised of ex-Merc pit traders -- and formerly included Merc chairman Jack Sandner.

The information could prove a must-have for anyone
