Just two weeks after Michael Cornford's surprise resignation made him head of global foreign exchange operations at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, Steve Bennett last Thursday announced a number of new appointments.

Keeping his promise that Cornford's departure would give "some very talented people the opportunity to advance" (FX Week Dec. 21), Bennett's appointments all come from within CIBC.
