Unibank/MeritaNB Name New Heads For Trading

HELSINKI--Unibank's Peter Nyegaard is to take the head of markets role at the combined Unibank/MeritaNordbanken, the banks announced last week.

Nyegaard, formerly head of markets trading at Unibank will have management responsibility for the FX trading and sales divisions.

Christer Serenhov--former global head of trading at MeritaNordbanken--becomes Nyegaard's number two, as deputy head of markets.

Before the merger between Merita Bank and Nordbanken in 1997 he held the same position at Nordbanken
