London: SmithKline Beecham is looking for an assistant treasury director for Continental Europe, according to treasurer Stephen Crompton. Besides regional corporate finance tasks in Europe, the assistant treasurer will supervise foreign exchange exposure management, he says. The position is a new one "due to development of the organization," says Crompton. An ACT or ACIB member with a degree or other relevant professional qualification and a proven track record in a similar role will get the job
