FICAL Names White FX Manager Spence To Head Corporate Desk

Last week, First Interstate Bank of California (FICAL) named Robert White manager of its foreign exchange trading operation in Los Angeles. White previously headed up its six person corporate advisory desk, an assignment that has since been passed on to FICAL's Chuck Spence.

Although White has many years of trading experience under his belt, having spent the better part of the 1970s trading the Canadian dollar for Harris Trust & Savings Bank in Chicago, sources inside the bank were surprised that
