Nomura sets NY hiring spree

NEW YORK - Nomura is fuelling fevered activity in the New York job market as it expands its US operations, according to recruitment experts.

The Japanese dealer has made further hires following the addition of David Steck, formerly head of hedge fund foreign exchange sales for Deutsche Bank in New York, last month (FX Week, June 15). Steck is tipped to lead Nomura's North American FX activities, reporting to Richard Gladwin, global co-head of forex in London.
