Icap upgrades EBS Spot

LONDON - Interdealer broker Icap has made two enhancements to spot-broking system EBS Spot, with a further two scheduled for next month.

The broker went live with an enhanced interrupt logic on June 1, meaning an order's active status is now determined at the core of the EBS pricing engine (FX Week, May 11). This will increase matching opportunities and the certainty of trade execution, Icap said.

On June 15, the broker introduced a minimum quote lifespan (MQL), where a currency pair parameter
