Asif Adatia, chief information officer at CMC Markets in London, said the broker initially spent three months deploying a similar system from Apama, but dropped the deal in favour of StreamBase. "We liked StreamBase better from a development environment, and from a performance and scalability perspective," said Adatia. "Our financial engineers find it really easy to put the models together - it is an intuitive graphical interface and they find that useful."
