FPL eyes latency standards

NEW YORK – After delivering standards for market data compression and algorithmic strategy distribution, messaging standards body Fix Protocol Ltd. (FPL) plans to launch the Fix Inter-party Latency (FIPL) Working Group, which will begin mid-month, FPL officials said.
