Carrington was part of the Canadian dealer's plans to build out its markets franchise, having joined as part of an exodus from Merrill Lynch in 2006. He came over with colleagues Harry Culham, head of fixed income, currencies and commodities and Christian Exshaw, head of distribution, and was later joined by Takis Spiropoulos, head of electronic solutions group in Toronto (FX Week, September 18, 2006 & October 19, 2009).
