RBS hires O’Brien from BAML

Dennis O'Brien has joined Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) as a director in foreign exchange sales after leaving Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in New York in September 2010.

O'Brien started at RBS in Stamford, Connecticut on February 28 and will be tasked with expanding the bank's FX sales platform to existing and prospective real-money institutional clients, according to an internal memo seen by FX Week.

He reports to Craig Donaldson, head of financial institutions FX and prime-brokerage
