Icap profits up in 2010/2011
Interdealer broker Icap's net profits rose by 4% from £335 million to £350 million in the financial year ended March 31, the company revealed in its results on May 18. Its electronic broking business, which combines the EBS spot FX platform and the BrokerTec fixed-income platform, generated revenues of £302 million, up 20% on the previous year.
