Revolving doors at BAML
Dean Tonkin, head of US foreign exchange forwards trading at Barclays in New York, has left the bank to join Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in a similar role. Tonkin had been with Barclays for almost eight years and reported to Adrian McGowan, head of global FX forwards trading. Prior to taking up his most recent role, Tonkin had been head of FX forwards for Asia-Pacific at Barclays, and has also worked at JP Morgan and WestLB. Meanwhile, BAML is understood to have
