Commerz poaches e-FX sales head from BAML
Nick Downes, head of electronic FX sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in London, has left the bank and is set to join Commerzbank in a similar role. Downes had been with BAML for just under two years, having joined the bank from Citi in 2010. At Citi, Downes was head of FX bank sales for Emea. He joined from UBS in 2008 and has also worked in FX roles at EBS, Crédit Agricole and Morgan Grenfell
