Bloomberg to offer FX options after six-month pilot

Market data and trading platform provider Bloomberg has become the latest company to offer foreign exchange options trading electronically as it launches the new functionality through its multibank trading platform, FXGO, after a six-month testing period with selected clients that began in April.

Market participants can now request and consolidate options prices from multiple providers through the platform's request-for-quote (RFQ) system. Two banks – Credit Suisse and Bank of America Merrill

Only users who have a paid subscription or are part of a corporate subscription are able to print or copy content.
