UniCredit hires ex-BNP Paribas FX sales chief

UniCredit has appointed Francois Boisson as global head of institutional foreign exchange sales. Based in London, he started in the new role on January 14 and will report locally to Bernd Bröker, global head of G-10 FX and deputy head of FX.

The appointment comes more than a year after Steve Turner, UniCredit's former global head of FX sales, left the bank in December 2011. After Turner's departure, the bank's institutional FX sales teams had reported directly to Jakob Groot, who joined
